Creating custom sugar cookies is a meticulous and time consuming process.
We are all about the little details that make each order special. It's our favorite part!
We accept a limited number of orders to ensure each order receives the care it deserves.
Typically, we book 1-3 months in advance, particularly from October to December.
Most orders require a minimum two-week notice.
If you need an order completed sooner, a rush fee will apply.
Submitting an order request does not confirm your order or hold your date.
Payment must be received for order and date confirmation.

Custom Sugar Cookie FAQs
Cookie Thickness
All of our decorated sugar cookies are approximately 5/16" thick. We believe this is the perfect cookie to icing ratio.
Designs
We require full creative freedom to design cookies based on your theme and color preferences. We encourage inspiration photos and invitations for color and decor, but do not replicate other bakers' work or use copyrighted images without permission.
Cookie Flavors
Sweet Barneau's signature cookie is a vanilla bean with a vanilla royal icing. Other flavors also available: vanilla almond, lemon, chocolate, apple spice, pumpkin spice, strawberry - the list goes on and on (additional fee per dozen may apply) !! Please specify at time of order if you are interested in an alternate flavor - otherwise all cookies will be the signature flavor.
Packaging
Unless otherwise requested, each cookie is individually heat-sealed in a cello bag for sanitation and freshness. Properly stored, heat-sealed cookies stay fresh for up to two weeks at room temperature and 2+ months in the freezer. Each cookie is labeled with our business and allergen information. Additional packaging options like bows, tags, or your business/logo stickers are available upon request.
Allergens
Our cookies are made in a home kitchen and may contain allergens such as eggs, nuts, soy, peanuts, milk, and wheat. Cross contamination with nut products is a possibility.
Order Process
After you submit an order inquiry, we will contact you within 1-2 business days to confirm our availability, the details of your order, and send you a quote. It is your responsibility to confirm or pass within 24 hours of receiving the quote. If accepted we will send you an invoice. Your order is not confirmed and we will not hold your date until payment is received. A 50% non-refundable retainer is require to hold your date and FULL payment is required two weeks prior to pickup.
If full payment is not made your order may be canceled.
Cancellations and Refunds
Freezing your cookies is a great option if your event is rescheduled.
Up to 2 Weeks Before Event
If you need to cancel your order up to two weeks prior to your event we will refund any payment received over the 50% non-refundable retainer fee. You may use this 50% retainer toward a future order within 90 days.
Within 2 Weeks of Event
Refunds will not be made within 2 weeks of your event. The non-refundable retainer will be forfeited and credit will be given for remaining balance. Credit must be used within 90 days.
All Sales are Final
We want you to love your order, but if you are not satisfied with your order, all uneaten cookies must be returned within 24 hours to assess their condition and determine if a credit may be issued for a future order.
